International Professional Development Schools (IPDS)
IPDS Siena Student Teaching is part of Buffalo State’s growing PDS initiative. The International Professional Development Schools Consortium (IPDS) provides global experiences that enrich the personal and professional lives of future teachers by helping them develop a capacity for thinking and acting with an understanding of global issues and initiatives, and to prepare them to be leaders in their communities and schools.
|
Through the Buffalo State PDS Consortium, faculty and staff collaborate with schools and agencies across the globe to develop teaching, volunteering, and service learning opportunities for undergraduate and graduate education students. We have developed programs in multiple countries, as well as opportunities for students to engage in the local Buffalo-area community within a global context.
